Organic Alley's main entrance is adjacent to the Coal Tower Restaurant in Schoen Place in Pittsford. The barn where Organic Alley makes it home, was built in the mid 1800's. It's intended use was for grain processing and storage. It took over a year for Organic Alley to renovate it's space.

Our Start
We opened our doors to the public in December of 2005, a culmination of a 6 year journey to locate in Pittsford.
Founders' and twin brothers' Chris and Doug Miller, both graduated from Pittsford Mendon High School and went on to pursue different paths after High School.
Doug, graduated from the University of Rochester, with a B.A. in economics and continued on to get his M.B.A at the Simon School of Business. An entrepeneur at heart, Doug helped companies such as CBC Companies, Auragen Communications & Omtrix get off the ground. Doug's passion for organics, healthy eating and the environment was inspired by the birth of his first daughter. He loves the outdoors, especially the Adirondack Park. Doug is married, Molly, and has 3 children, Emily, Meghan & Griffin.
Chris, graduated from Lafayette College with a A.B. in economics. Following graduation, Chris worked in the corporate world for several years, including at the University of Rochester. His passion to pursue yoga and other illumination arts grew strong and he decided to pursue the art and teachings of Yoga. Chris is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher.

Our Community
Organic Alley is makng a difference in our community. We support our children through yoga classes, book signings, school class visits or other events. We are helping them become aware and educated regarding important health & environmental issues that will face them in the future.
We support "buy local first" by securing partnerships with local businesses first even if they may be a little higher in cost. It saves the environment the transportation costs and supports our local economy.
Other programs aimed at supporting our community are underway.
